Athletes Shine at the Olympics

While Olympians are winning medals and making history with new records, they’re also trending online for their impeccable fashion and swagger. From patriotic nail designs, to creative makeup looks, to effortless style that drew the internet’s attention — the 2024 Paris Olympics have it all. We’re highlighting our favorites so far from the Paris Olympics!

Athletes & Their Nails

One way for athletes to have fun and show some personal style at the Olympics is through nail art. From patriotic artwork to bright, playful manicures, you can find stiff competition amongst the Olympians’ nails. From Team USA alone, rugby player Alex Sedrick, tennis player Danielle Collins, and Sha’carri Richardson all showcased their country with red, white, and blue nails. Gymnasts Jordan Chiles and Sunisa Lee were both rocking long nails featuring eye-catching designs. (You can have the same French manicure as Suni Lee since hers are a $23 Kiss press-on kit!)

Outside just Team USA athletes, French fencer Sara Balzer, Romanian table tennis player Bernadette Szocs, Spain’s handball player Maria Gutierrez, and so many more were spotted with manicures that featured the Olympic rings.

Ultimate Style

Some athletes just ooze confidence in their style — which you can do too with the help of a StyldLife appointment! Style doesn’t have to be loud, it can be simple sleek looks as well. South Korean sharpshooter Kim Yeji garnered internet fame with her nonchalant swagger as she won a silver medal. She paired her simple black team tracksuit with the best accessory hanging from her pocket — her daughter’s stuffed elephant. Another athlete showcasing effortless fashion was Team Japan’s skateboarder Yuto Horigome. Yuto is no stranger to fashion, having been invited to fashion shows in Paris and showcased in campaigns. His style was on showcase as he won gold in Men’s Street skateboarding.

Killer Makeup Looks

From looks that sparkled and complimented team uniforms, to shots of athletes doing touch up in between competitions — makeup is not taking a beach seat at the Olympics. Team USA’s Simone Biles was caught in between routines, touching up her makeup with FENTY Beauty Setting + Blotting Powder and NYX Slim Lip Pencil. Brazilian gymnast Rebeca Andrade rocked graphic black eyeliner and gold sparkles to compliment are glittering leotard.

These Olympians and more showed off their style and dominated fashion and beauty even when they weren’t competing. You don’t have to be an Olympian to showcase your style at this level. With the help of StyldLife stylists, you can have the confidence of an Olympian every day!
